Standing on top of the scales of justice

Yesterday, President Trump had a meeting with top congressional republican leaders about passing a comprehensive Justice reform bill that would effect thousands of non-violent offenders who are currently serving unjust sentences based on laws and policies our congressional leaders all agree were and are racially disparate with regards to minorities and or were incorrectly implemented outside congress true intent.
For years now congress and senate leaders have refuse to put justice reform bills on the senate floor for a vote disregarding bi-partisan support on both side of isle. Since Trump pardon a non-violent drug offender based on support by reality star Kim Kardashian, Trump has been a stern advocate for justice reform. Weeks back he made it clear that he wanted congress to pass a justice reform bill immediately. Therefore, Congressman on both sides have been working to merge two reform bills: ( First Step Act and the Sentencing Reform Correction Act) These two bills in combination would cover reentry programs for reentering society, correct some of the injustices written into our present sentencing laws and allow those who are serving extensive sentences do to those unjust laws a means for potential relief.
Yet, yesterday Trump was met with “A Red Wall” i.e, (Republican Push back!) Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and other’s are refusing to put the bill on the senate floor for vote… Claiming their not going to deal with justice reform until after the mid-term elections. This is a proverbial slap in the face, of what our president and the people of this country wants.
Which has cause me to write this post: “WHY IS OUR CONGRESSMAN STANDING ON THE SCALES OF JUSTICE!!!” If you research all the data that support and validates the true need for justice reform…you would understand passing a justice reform bill is a “no brainer” and has been long over-due.
Yet, those who the people have place to represent them in the congressional voters box. Simply has no hang up with standing on the scales of justice, denying families and defendants the justice they DESERVE!
That being said, I’d like to take you back to why originally when this all started with the pardon being provided due to Kim Kardashian sponsoring a defendant and Trump offering professional athletes a chance to submit names to him of people they felt deserve a pardon. Which cause me to offer the idea to NFL players to do a name drive and get as many names as they could from Organizations like FAMM, CAN-DO, UNITEDFORCHANGE and ect. To submit to the president as soon as possible, because I understood how congressmen in power have kept their feet on the scales of justice with no regard for the harm its causing or how its effecting the American tax dollar.
Trump has offered our professional athletes a rare opportunity that should not be missed, at the rate that things are going in the White House pardon power is one of the few powers that our current president truly has left. He losing support in congress right now. Now don’t get me wrong its not the first time congress has refuse to support Donald Trump.
He did not make it in the White because the republican party supported him. While he ran for president he snubs republican leaders constantly and he proved to them that he did not need them to become president and right now he has another opportunity to show them he doesn’t need them to correct the injustices put in place by congress.
Therefore, I’m asking all of you to please forward this post to all you know..help me get the word out to our professional athletes A.S.A.P! Help me put pressure on them to put the names of defendants who are fighting for justice on Trumps desk and get those like myself the relief they so rightly deserve.
Because, depending on congress is…and hasn’t been worth the weight of cotton. All our congressional leaders keep doing is killing our faith and hopes for justice and freedom.

Historian have written about times where the moral fabric of a nation was so tattered where the only solution for change was war a destruction. This country was built and establish to be the nation it is today. By the disenfranchised, those who were being oppressed by the Queen and her fellow Aristocrats. Therefore if this country is to change once again for the better. It will begin and must begin with the actions and the voice of the disenfranchised i.e, America's minorities, poor and it's third class citizen the American Ex-felon. That being said I'm committed to "WRITING MY WRONGS..." and sewing seed of knowledge and truth that will blossom into peace, prosperity and positive change
