Saturday August 12th, in Charlottesville VA white supremacist took to the streets to rally in response to the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. The streets were filled with many white individuals with machine guns wielding them around and the law enforcement agents neglected to trust these individuals as they are criminals and not just those that are enacting their constitutional right to freedom of speech. The last I checked freedom of speech meant peaceful protest and rallying in a certain manner. However these people are allowed to carry on in the violent manner to so-called achieve a cause and put their issues in the forefront. Nineteen people were injured and One killed. Even David Duke showed his support of the protest stating that they are only following the campaign orders of the now President Donald Trump. “Making America Great Again.” This is the climate that this country will constantly face in the years to come. A person even plowed a car into protestors of the opposing right, white Supremacist.
Donald Trump spoke at a veterans conference as he is getting ready to sign a bill for the veterans bill. He got up on the podium to speak about the atrocities that are happening in Charlottesville. Not one time during his speech did he acknowledge who the individuals were in the streets, but every time a black or brown person in this country commit any similar act they would be called out by name , nationality, religion and other affiliations that would be a negative eyesight. He neglected to call out his friends that has sponsored his campaigns, voted him into office and will aid and assist him in any aspect that he wants them to. See we are dealing with a President that has his picks. Why? He has his picks because he is apart of the system that perpetrates the ugliness of bigotry, racism and white supremacy in this country. He would never denounce what was and is going on as these are his cohorts, his cronies and his friends.
The Presidents main cabinet consist of white supremacist capitalist and at the least, criminal by the acts that they have indulged in for the past 7 months now. If this had been a bunch of black, brown and poor whites that was apart of this rally. Guns would have been fired at the people, tear gas employed to subdue the participants in the streets. These people have provided a violent situation for the people of Charlottesville.
Take a picture in your mental and look for things to come in this country. The president didn’t even send his condolences to the family of the lone person killed. This is who runs this country.
