Mother’s Day is a special day. First off I want to salute all the mothers out there. In this day and time there are a lot of Grandmother’s who’ve taken on the mother role and I want to salute them as well. I can relate to that because my mother has raised my son since the age of 3. My son will be 10 this year and if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t know what I’d do. I’ve been able to do this time with a piece of mind because I know my son is good hands. Also to all my single mothers. Big ups to you because you’ve played the role of Mommy and Daddy and that’s not an easy task. Being a mother is a full time and it takes a special someone to be able to handle that role by themselves. Sometimes I don’t think that mother’s get enough recognition. Being a mother is like being a CEO of a company. There are so many task that you have to do in one day. Back in my day house moms were more prevalent then today. The majority of mother’s today are working moms and between work and the kids it’s hard to find time for yourself. That’s why today is the day that you enjoy yourself and get catered to because you deserve it. A really admire a woman’s strength because we tend to manage a household with ease. We manage our children and husband’s lives as well as our own. Now tell me what man you know could go to work, come home, cook dinner, take the kids to their extra circular activities, help them with homework, clean the house, wash clothes, tend to her husband or significant other, tend to her own personal needs and get up the next day and do it all over again? I haven’t seen a man that could juggle all that in one day yet. A woman’s strength is what keeps her family together. So with that being said, I want to wish all you mother’s a happy mother’s day and many many more!
